Dr. J. Hooper Williams

Dr. Williams has practiced in Western North Carolina for over twenty years.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University and a Doctorate degree from Southern College of Optometry.  He enjoys practicing in this intimate area where friends become patients and patients become friends. 

As a provider of primary eye care, Dr. Williams' interest is the diversity of patients and conditions that come under his care.  He enjoys treating geriatric patients and infants back to back as well as managing conditions from Simple Myopia to Diabetic Retinopathy.  He is proud of the relationships he has built with area specialists and he ensures that each unique case is referred to the correct surgeon for the indicated procedure.

Dr. Williams and his wife Kimberly, a dedicated school teacher,  have Allie (13) and Olin (11).  In addition to his memberships in The American Optometric Association and Mountain District Optometric Society, his interests revolve around his family, church and community.

Connie Norton

Connie Norton is our Office Manager.  She oversees the daily operations ensuring the highest standard of care for all of our patients and customers.

Debbie Bracken

Debbie Bracken is our Insurance Coordinator.  Through her knowledge and skill in the coding realm, our patients enjoy the smoothest third party reimbursement experience possible.  Debbie is an expert at determining benefits for each patient, keeping the ambiguity of patient responsibility to a minimum.  In addition to insurance responsibilities, Debbie takes care of most of the computer work, mailings, and other advanced front desk management.
